Sugar Detox Recipe: Almond and Chia Spirulina Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1/3 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds, plus extra for coating
  • 1 tsp stevia powder
  • 1 tbs spirulina

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients in bowl, mix until smooth
  2. Roll mixture into small balls
  3. Place balls on baking paper lined tray and place in the fridge to set for an hour
  4. NB – If the mixture feels too dry, add more tahini. If the mixture feels too wet, add more almond meal

Makes 12

Notes: Ensure you do not have more than 4 a day. Store in the fridge.
