
Sugar Detox Recipe: Garlic Prawn Skewers
There's nothing better than the smell of a classic backyard barbecue on a warm spring weekend. Try this delicious and super easy garlic prawn skewers recipe from our Sugar Detox series.

Ingredients:
- 125g raw prawns peeled
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Olive oil
Method:
- Add a pinch of salt to the garlic and Crush the garlic in a blender
- Once it is combined slowly add a tablespoon of oil.
- Mix until you see a fine paste begin to form.
- Marinate the prawns in the garlic for 1-2 hrs in the refrigerator.
- Using a bamboo skewer place the prawns onto the skewer.
- Cook until slightly brown on each side
- Enjoy with your favourite vegetables.
Serves 1
Notes: You can use chicken as well. Why not place your favourite vegetables on a skewer and grill them too?
