Vitamin K2 plays a special role in increasing the metabolism of calcium into the bones where it is a primary co-factor for the activation of osteocalcin (found in bones) and matrix-gammacarboxyglutamate (Gla) proteins (located in arterial vessel walls and soft tissues).

Description: The ubiquinol contained within Caruso's Vitamin K2 + Ubiquinol is derived from Kaneka Q10, a natural yeast-fermented and bio-identical Coenzyme Q10.

Kaneka Ubiquinol is more absorbable than conventional Coenzyme Q10, which means that optimal levels of Coenzyme Q10 can be restored quickly and efficiently.
While Coenzyme Q10 is naturally produced in the body, ubiquinol is a form of Coenzyme Q10 which has been converted into a form that is ready for use in many areas in the body to support energy production, artery and blood vessel health, healthy cardiovascular system function and as a powerful lipid-soluble antioxidant to help reduce free radicals formed within the body.

As we age, the natural production of Coenzyme Q10 in the body begins to decline along with the ability to convert it to the more absorbable form of ubiquinol.
